My name is Francesca Horchner and I am a paralegal at Smart Move Conveyancing.
I joined the Murdoch’s team in 2020. I really enjoy assisting our Senior Conveyancing Managers with all that is involved in the property transaction process from the initial receipt of Contracts through to phoning clients to advise them of a successful settlement.
I have always been passionate about helping others and working in a fast-paced, challenging and rewarding environment. Being part of the Smart Move team has combined all of this and I very much enjoy working alongside such supportive and dedicated individuals.
I really value the daily interactions I get to have with our clients, and keeping them informed every step of the way so there are no surprises. I will always do whatever I can to assist my clients so they can focus on the things they need to.
I became interested in law when I started Legal Studies in high school and have recently completed a double degree of Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Contemporary International Studies) at the University of Southern Queensland.
I have a keen interest in administrative and migration law, and aspire to specialise in this area in the future. For now, I am enjoying getting a solid grounding in property law and hope to work at Murdoch Lawyers for many years to come.
Outside of work and study, you can find me doing headstands on my yoga mat, walking my dogs, planning my next international trip or enjoying food with friends and family.
